PW Construction Recruitment is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for an established residential developer. Based from the Maidstone office, you’ll support the commercial management of new homes developments across the South East, working with an experienced team to keep projects on programme and within budget.
The Role
You’ll support the commercial and financial aspects of assigned developments from procurement through to completion. Your work will include:

Assisting with budgets, cost estimates and commercial reports.

Supporting subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments.

Monitoring costs and helping identify risks or changes to project budgets.

Liaising with site, technical and commercial colleagues to keep information accurate and up to date.

Helping ensure work meets contractual, legal and quality requirements.
About You
You’ll have some experience in housebuilding and be ready to develop your quantity surveying skills within a busy regional team. Strong numerical ability, attention to detail and good Excel skills are important. Experience using COINS would be an advantage.
A relevant qualification, or progress towards one, would be welcome, but practical experience and the right approach are equally valued.
The Package
The salary is approximately £35,000–£45,000, depending on experience, plus a car allowance, bonus, pension and additional benefits.
