Job Role: Fabric Engineer (Carpentry Bias)
Area: Kent, London and Surrey
Salary: £40-45k DOE + Van & Fuel Card
I am working with a Facilities Maintenance company based in Kent, the ideal Fabric Engineer with a carpentry bias and will have experience in the commercial sector.
Duties:
- Performing fabric repairs and general building maintenance across a range of commercial and residential sites.
- Delivering a high standard of finish across tasks such as door repairs, flooring, skirting, locks, and fittings.
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests and completing planned maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring all works comply with H&S regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in carpentry (primarily 2nd fix) and general fabric maintenance.
- NVQ Level 2 or above/City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Good communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.
