Health and Safety Manager - Slough
Position: Health and Safety Manager
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Duration: 6 Months
Day Rate: £350 - £450 per day
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager for an exciting RC frame project based in Slough. This role offers a competitive day rate and is ideal for someone with a strong background in health and safety management, particularly within the construction and civil engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of health and safety on-site.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Risk assessments, method statements, and safety audits.

Lead safety briefings and toolbox talks.

Monitor the implementation of health and safety policies and ensure adherence to industry standards.

Investigate any accidents or near misses, ensuring corrective actions are taken.

Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure safety standards are met.
Requirements:

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety.

Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager on construction sites.

Civils experience and understanding, particularly with RC frame projects.

Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and manage health and safety protocols effectively.
