An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced New Homes Sales Adviser to take ownership of sales at an exclusive new development near Barcombe, East Sussex (BN8), a boutique collection of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes set in the picturesque East Sussex countryside.
With a basic salary of £30,000 PA and a £45,000 OTE, this is a rare chance to run your own sales operation, working single‑manned from the on‑site sales suite, managing the full customer journey from first enquiry through to legal completion.
With just 26 homes in total (17 private sale), this is a quality‑focused scheme where an experienced adviser can build strong relationships with buyers and deliver a premium purchasing experience.
This is a full‑time, permanent position working Thursday to Monday, 10am–5pm, offering autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to make the development your own.
The Role
As the on‑site Sales Adviser, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the buying process.
Working independently from the marketing suite, you will act as the face of the development, ensuring prospective purchasers receive a highly professional and informative service.
Day‑to‑Day Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing the on‑site sales suite and show homes, ensuring they are presented to the highest standard at all times
- Greeting and qualifying prospective purchasers visiting the development
- Conducting professional viewings and site tours, highlighting the specification, layout and lifestyle benefits of the homes
- Building rapport with buyers and guiding them through the entire purchase journey
- Managing and following up sales leads, enquiries and appointments from multiple sources
- Maintaining accurate records on the sales CRM system and producing regular reports
- Progressing reservations through to exchange and completion in liaison with solicitors, mortgage brokers and the developer’s internal teams
- Monitoring plot availability, pricing and reservation status
- Coordinating marketing activity and local promotion where required
- Ensuring compliance with the developer’s sales processes and reservation procedures
- Delivering outstanding customer service and after‑sales support
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in new homes sales or property sales within a developer or estate agency environment
- The confidence and professionalism to run a site independently
- Strong relationship‑building and closing skills
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
- High levels of IT literacy and systems confidence (CRM, reporting systems, digital marketing leads etc.)
- The ability to manage multiple buyers and transactions simultaneously
- A genuine passion for property and delivering a high‑quality customer experience
