An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced New Homes Sales Adviser to join a high-quality residential development in Dover. On offer is a basic salary of up to £30k PA + commission, giving a £46k OTE.
Working on behalf of a well-regarded developer, you will be selling a collection of high-specification new homes to private owner-occupiers, delivering a premium customer experience from first enquiry through to completion.
This role would suit an experienced New Homes Sales Adviser, perhaps who is currently working for Tier 1 housebuilder but is looking for more autonomy and weekend flexibility and a more customer-focused environment, with a strong product and a supportive sales structure.
This is a full-time, site-based position, working 10am to 5pm, five days per week, including weekends but with every other Saturday off (plus one other day) — offering a genuinely attractive work-life balance compared to typical developer roles.
The Role:
As the on-site Sales Adviser, you will take full ownership of the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and professional buying experience while maximising sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting and welcoming prospective purchasers to the development
- Delivering informative and engaging property presentations and site tours
- Selling off-plan and completed units to private buyers
- Managing the full sales process from initial enquiry through to exchange and completion
- Qualifying applicants and securing reservations in line with company procedures
- Proactively progressing sales through regular liaison with solicitors, brokers and all stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records across CRM systems and managing the sales pipeline
- Following up all enquiries and converting leads into reservations
- Ensuring the sales suite and show homes are presented to a high standard at all times
- Supporting marketing initiatives and local area promotion
- Assisting with customer handovers and ensuring an exceptional aftercare experience
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a New Homes Sales Adviser with a housebuilder (Tier 1 experience highly desirable)
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent understanding of the new homes sales process, including off-plan sales and progression
- Highly IT literate, with strong CRM and systems capability
- Systems orientated, with excellent attention to detail when managing customer data and sales progression
- Quick to learn new processes, systems and product ranges
- Professional, polished and customer-focused approach
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Well organised, self-motivated and able to manage a busy sales environment
