Job Role: SHEQ Advisor
Area: Dublin
Salary: €45k - €55k
My client is looking for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join their team to support site teams and management and to ensure health, safety and environmental practices are identified, documented, understood and compiled throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Advising all staff on content of risk assessments, method statements, task-specific briefings, site health & safety plans, and safety issues generally.
- Ensure all toolbox talks are communicated in a timely manner.
- Conduct first party and second party audits on sites and projects.
- Represent the company at SHEQ meetings with clients and sub-contractors.
- Management of accident investigation and compilation of reports ensuring any improvement actions are put in place and closed out.
- Keep up to speed with client health and safety standards and specifications and ensure that these are implemented at project level.
- Attending any health and safety meetings.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Full UK Driving licence (essential)
- Working knowledge of construction design and management regulations.
- Understand SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Ability to cope under pressure.
- Well spoken and written communication skills
