Site Manager – Heritage & Conservation
London | Up to £70,000 + Excellent Package
Our client is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading specialists in Heritage and Conservation construction. Entrusted with some of the nation’s most treasured buildings, their portfolio includes projects for English Heritage, the Royal Household, and other prestigious custodians of Britain’s architectural legacy.
Their expertise lies in the meticulous restoration and preservation of period properties — from traditional masonry and bespoke joinery to specialist plasterwork, roofing, leadwork, and fine decorative finishes. Every project is delivered using time-honoured techniques by skilled in-house craftsmen and carefully selected specialist subcontractors.
They are now seeking an accomplished Site Manager who shares their passion for safeguarding historic buildings and has a proven track record of delivering complex, sensitive schemes on time, on budget, and to exceptional quality standards.
The Role
Projects range from £250,000 to £5 million, often delivered over extended programmes and within live environments. Quality is paramount — second only to health & safety.
As Number 1 on site, you will combine hands-on leadership with commercial awareness, ensuring the seamless delivery of works that demand precision, patience, and pride.
Candidates may come from either a trade background or an academic route, but must demonstrate a deep appreciation for heritage environments and the standards they demand.
